Hi there!
My name is Kyanah (Key-an-uh) but I usually go by Keke. I identify as a fashion designer, passionate creative, and collaborative thinker I seek opportunities that are community driven as well as sustainably centered and look forward to being a part of conversations that aid in those innovations. I find endless value in providing the ability to develop a relationship with the people behind the products in both storytelling and curating a space for connection.
Beyond design I love reading (and am always look forward to new recommendations) as well as sketching, traveling, and getting the opportunity to meet new people!
Feel free to reach out, I’d love to chat!

Fabric Update
Nylon and knit piqué were introduced to the line, reinforcing the sporty direction while remaining rooted in collegiate prep inspiration. Peep in the orginal creative direction
REFINED COLLECTION:
Following alignment with our global team, the direction evolved to emphasize a more sporty sensibility paired with relaxed, wearable fits. This refinement allowed the collection to feel more contemporary while maintaining its core heritage influences. Some styles I had to go ahead and quickly sketch and 3d render to present to team to refine.
TIER 2
Elevated Fabrics & Silhouettes
I supported my manager across the collection and owned the design execution for all knit tops and dresses, including developing the full knit assortment from the line plan. While my manager led the woven tops, I was responsible for translating seasonal direction into knit silhouettes, graphics, and trim placement.
A key focus of my role was updating carryover knit styles and refining brand trim placement to ensure alignment across denim and non-denim categories. This cross-functional collaboration helped maintain consistency in brand details throughout the line.
An American in Paris is rooted in classic collegiate prep, drawing inspiration from heritage workwear and iconic hickory stripe patterns. We reinterpreted these traditional elements through a modern lens, balancing nostalgia with efficiency to create a design language that feels elevated yet accessible.
DESIGN PASS OFF/ INTIATING TECH PACK
I owned the creation of pass-off pages and tech callouts, partnering closely with technical design through regular meetings to communicate updates and address execution considerations.
